Spice UP your chicken!
To make spicy chicken, we need to marinate the chicken so it can absorb spices. To do that, one of the best ways is to prepare a mixture of spices with yogurt and marinate the chicken with it. 
What goes with the spicy chicken could be mashed potato, Roasted Broccoli, Mint Yogurt, Peri-Peri Sauce. 

Further, you can use the chicken strips to make a sandwich or burger.
As we all know spices and herbs have proven to have numerous health benefits. For e.g chili peppers have the characteristics of preventing liver damage, progression. Peppers are good to prevent heart disease. Spices have been around and are used in food for hundreds of years
 

Ingredients:

  • 1.2 Kg Skinless Chicken Pieces
  • 1/2 Cup Plain Yogurt
  • 3 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Tablespoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Coriander
  • 1 Tablespoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt (Or to taste)
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Cooking Oil as required

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl add yogurt and all spices, then mix well
  2. Check the mixture for taste and add seasoning to taste or add more yogurt if required
  3. Place the chicken in a big bowl, pour in the marinade
  4. Ensure that the chicken is properly marinated then cover and refrigerate for 20 min
  5. Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat
  6. Fry marinated drumsticks 2 at a time until golden brown from all sides
  7. Repeat for all the chicken pieces
Our great-tasting spicy chicken is ready. Enjoy with Hummus, Peri Peri, Mashed potato salad, or any dips that you like.
