Cheese Pratha
Great tasting paratha ( light fried bread) stuffed with cheese. It's a great tasting high energy breakfast which is a great idea to start your day full of energy.
Since the cheese is packed in whole wheat it also has fiber, about 10% of daily intake, 5 % protien and 5 % carbohydrates of daily value.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Wheat Flour
- 3 Tablespoon Oil
- Cheese 4 Slices
- Water as required for kneading
Instructions:
- Knead the flour with water until it has semi solid consistency let it rest for 30 min
- Split the dough in half roll them into balls between your palms
- Dust a flat surface with flour so the dough doesn't stick to the sruface
- Roll the dough balls with rolling pin until round and flat, shouldn't be very thick
- Place them separately, put the cheese slices on one of the flattened dough fully covering it
- Pick up the other flattened dough and place on top so cheese is cover on both sides
- Heat oil on a big pan enough to fit the paratha
- Put the prepared dough on the pan, add little oil around its edges
- After a couple of minutes flip the paratha and add oil to the sides
- Cook from both sides until golden brown
